What if you don't deliver the guaranteed hours?
If we deliver under 90% of your tier's monthly guarantee (e.g., less than 136 hours for Pro at 35/wk), next month's subscription is on us. If we miss two months in a row during your 3-month lock, you can cancel without penalty. We don't penalise you for your own sick days. Only for our shortfall.
Why not just pay per lead somewhere?
A "lead" is a phone call. Not all phone calls book. Not all bookings complete. Not all completions pay. On pay-per-lead platforms, you're charged for the maybe, and you carry all the conversion risk yourself.
We charge a flat subscription and deliver lessons that are booked, paid, completed, and confirmed. If we don't, next month is free. The risk is on us, not you. That's the difference between a marketplace and a real platform.
Who owns the customer relationship?
Complete Control acquires the customer through our ads and brand. The customer books through our platform. But the lesson relationship is yours. They see you, they remember you, they refer friends to you. If a customer specifically requests you, we route them to you.
How do payments work?
Students pay Complete Control through Stripe. We hold the lesson fee for 24-48 hours after completion (for refund safety), then release your payout per completed lesson, or weekly on Fridays if you prefer. Your subscription bills monthly: first month at signup, then every month on that date.
What about students I bring to the platform myself?
If you already have a book of students and bring them across, they count toward your tier delivery. The full lesson revenue stays yours. No fee for bringing your own.
Can I cancel after 3 months?
Yes. After the initial 3-month lock, you're on a rolling monthly basis. Cancel anytime with 7 days notice. We'd rather keep you with great service than with a contract.
Can I take a holiday or pause my subscription?
Yes. Heading away? Let us know through the app before you go and we pause your subscription for that stretch. You're not billed while you're paused, and your delivery guarantee pauses with it, so time off never counts against you. Give us a little notice so we can settle any bookings already in your calendar and adjust the marketing in your area while you're gone.
What's required to qualify for Master tier?
85%+ first-attempt pass rate over your last 50 students, 3+ years instructing, 150+ lessons delivered on our platform, clean instructor licence, and a 4.7+ rating from at least 30 students. Then an interview and one ride-along observation. Andrew is our prototype Master Instructor.
Important: if you're applying as a Master from day one, you must provide verified evidence of the pass rate and student-rating thresholds (e.g., screenshots from your current platform, references, or a letter from your previous school). Self-reported numbers aren't accepted. If you can't provide proof, you can still join. You'll start in your earned tier and become Master-eligible once we have 60+ days of platform data on you.
What happens if I can't make a lesson?
Open the app, mark yourself unavailable for the day or window. The system automatically reassigns every affected lesson to the next available qualified instructor in the same area. Students are notified instantly with their new instructor's profile. You don't make any phone calls and you don't owe anyone an apology. The reassigned lesson, and its revenue, goes to the covering instructor who delivers it, so it counts toward their delivery, not yours. Use sparingly though: repeated unavailability flags will affect your student ratings.
Where can I operate?
We're recruiting instructors Australia-wide, every state and territory. Our student marketing is live today on the Gold Coast (up to Upper Coomera) and in the NSW Northern Rivers, and we open each new area to students the moment we have accredited instructors there. So if you're in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide or anywhere between: apply now, you'll be first on the ground when your area switches on, and founding instructors in a new area get priority routing as it grows.
How do you check accreditation?
Every state has its own credential, QLD's TMR Driver Trainer Accreditation, NSW's TfNSW Driving Instructor Licence, Victoria's Driving Instructor Authority, and so on. Tell us your number when you apply and we verify it against your state's requirements before onboarding, then sight the card during onboarding. It keeps the platform clean, which protects the value of being on it.
