We teach across the Gold Coast, including Southport, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Robina, Burleigh Heads and up to Upper Coomera. We also teach in the NSW Northern Rivers around Tweed Heads, Kingscliff and Murwillumbah, in western and eastern Sydney, in Melbourne's west, around Ipswich in Brisbane's west, and in Adelaide. Instructor coverage differs suburb by suburb, so check your suburb at completecontrol.com.au/coverage before you book. New areas open regularly as instructors join.

Yes. We offer both automatic and manual lessons in modern dual-control vehicles, with pick-up and drop-off included.

Automatic lessons start from $99 for one hour and manual lessons from $110. A Test Day package, which includes a warm-up drive, car hire and the test itself, is $260. You can see current pricing and book online.

Yes. Choose how many hours to prepay at checkout and the rate drops: 3 hours is 2.5% off, 5 hours is 5% off, 10 hours is 10% off, 15 hours is 12.5% off, 20 hours is 15% off. Only your first lesson is scheduled at the time you book; the rest become credits on your account that you can use whenever you like, valid for 12 months. Fewer than 3 hours is charged at the standard hourly rate.

Yes. Our Test Day package includes use of a dual-control car for your practical test, plus a warm-up lesson beforehand.

If you are under 25, you need at least 100 hours of supervised driving recorded in your learner logbook, including 10 hours at night, and you must have held your learner licence for at least 1 year and be 17 or older. If you are 25 or older you do not need a logbook. Either way you must pass the hazard perception test before your practical test.

Yes. Time with an accredited driver trainer counts as triple time in your Queensland logbook, up to 10 hours of lessons recorded as 30 hours. After that, lesson time counts hour for hour. A night lesson counts either as triple time or as night hours, not both.

Transport and Main Roads (TMR) runs practical driving tests for cars at 4 Gold Coast customer service centres: Southport (265 Nerang Street, Southport QLD 4215), Helensvale (Shop 9A/B, Helensvale Plaza, 12 Sir John Overall Drive, Helensvale QLD 4212), Burleigh Waters (Shop 1, Burleigh Home Space, 1 Santa Maria Court, Burleigh Waters QLD 4220) and Currumbin Waters (Unit 3, 109 Currumbin Creek Road, Currumbin Waters QLD 4223). You book the test with TMR. Our Test Day package adds a warm-up lesson and the use of our dual-control car on the day.

TMR reported lead times to book a car test of 34 work days at Southport, 35 work days at Burleigh Waters, 35 work days at Currumbin Waters and 39 work days at Helensvale over March 2025 to February 2026 (Queensland Parliament, answer to Question on Notice 206 (5 March 2026)). Book your test as soon as you are eligible and use the weeks before it for lessons.
